I´m a 19-year-old, student at the  Savannah College of Art and Design. I grew up on the Jersey Shore, designing and creating art. It wasn´t until COVID hit that I began to sell any of it.
My friends came over and saw some of the jewelry I had lying around my room. They complemented it and without thought, I had told them to take some. They were confused, I told them I had made the pieces they were looking at and had too many for just myself.
Being young and bored we decided to have a fashion show in my basement, trying to sell my jewelry through Instagram. I had a name of a store I had been dreaming of having and they all loved the name, Jersey Shore Jewels. It has just stuck since then.
I am so extremely grateful for that night. My cousins, and family have supported me so much and I´m so grateful for it.

Jersey Shore Jewels is a single-person-owned small business. Everything is handmade with love.

I was lucky enough to have gotten a stand at my local seafood fest. Which is a very popular event where I´m from, it's right on the downtown main street. The same street I would go shopping on as a child. I ended up waking up at 5 in the morning and I got to the event at 7. I felt overwhelmed and started unpacking before I even looked around to see where I was. Which was directly in front of the shop I´d wanted my entire life. The shop hasn't had anything in it and it needs a whole lot of work done on it but it´s always caught my eye. I spend the day staring at the building, wishing I´d be able to unpack and walk right back into the store one day.
